While Paul's paintings cost thousands of dollars, he sells most of his 'Blue Sketches' regularly for approximately $100.00 through two local galleries near his home. His Blue Sketches are available through both The Lost American Gallery, in Longview Alberta, and The Bluerock Gallery in Black Diamond, Alberta. Of his Blue Sketches, Paul says,

On a recent trip to Europe, my family stayed in a fishing village in Italy. I had never seen lemons on a tree before, and felt compelled to draw them. I didn’t bring any art supplies, so I asked our host if I could borrow some pens and paper. He obliged, and I drew a lemon branch under a hot sun, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. I accidently spilled water all over my drawing, left it to dry, and started a new one, I glanced at it again, and absolutely loved the dried pools of ink, which resembled the deep purple-blue of the Sea. I have been deliberately drawing this way since.
